All welcome at our summer beach

We’re delighted to welcome back our much-loved summer beach for the school holidays. Returning by popular demand, the free family attraction has become a favourite with visitors looking for fun-filled days out. From 20th July to 30th August, you can enjoy a taste of the seaside close to home, with plenty of sandcastle-building and summer fun on our sandy beach located outside M&S. The beach will be open Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Hit the beach

Make a day of your visit by exploring everything Designer Outlet Leeds has to offer. After enjoying some time on the beach, discover our latest stores, pick up toys, games and summer treats at The Entertainer, or stock up on crafts, colouring books and activity sets at The Works to keep little ones entertained throughout the holidays. Parents can relax with a coffee from one of our cafés and settle into a deckchair around the beach while the children play, making it the perfect spot for a stress-free family day out.

A traditional summer celebration

No trip to the beach would be complete without a ride on our beautifully decorated carousel. At just £3 per ride, it’s a magical experience for little ones and the perfect backdrop for memorable family photos. When it’s time to cool down, treat yourself to a classic Whippy from the ice cream van and enjoy all the summer entertainment on offer. FAQs

  • What is available at the pop-up beach? For your convenience, towels are provided. This is to prevent our toilets and sinks getting blocked up with sand – we ask you to please towel dry your children instead of rinsing off sand in the basins.
  • Any other safety advice? Children must be accompanied by parents and carers at all times.
  • How do I contact lost property? First check with a member of staff at this event or please contact a member of our team on 01977 520972.
  • What if I need First Aid help? All our security team are First Aid trained. Should you require any First Aid assistance while you are in the centre, please walk into any store and ask them to contact security for you or call 01977 520972.
  • Is car parking free? We have ample FREE parking with over 1,400 car spaces, accessible spaces and coach bays. Electric car charging is available in the orange car park in 4 bays located close to Next.
